<p>The Yamaha 85HP Long Shaft outboard engine is designed for larger boats and demanding marine applications requiring improved stability and deeper propeller positioning. Powered by a reliable in-line 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1140 cm³, it delivers strong torque, smooth acceleration, and dependable marine performance. The engine produces a maximum output of 62.5 kW (85 HP) at 5000 RPM and operates with a carburetor fuel induction system for efficient and stable fuel delivery.</p><p>The Long Shaft (L) configuration features a transom height of 521 mm (20.5”), making it ideal for boats with higher transoms and offshore navigation. The engine comes equipped with an electric starting system and offers remote control or tiller handle options depending on the model. It also supports Power Trim & Tilt or Hydro Tilt systems for easier maneuverability and handling. With a dry weight ranging from 113 to 124 kg and a dependable pre-mixed fuel and oil lubrication system, the Yamaha 85HP Long Shaft is built for durability and professional marine performance.</p>
